dude u dont even know who peter gabriel is he used to be in the band Genesis but then he realized he was better than that and left it which is when phil collins stayed with genesis, reaviling some sweet talent and meanwhile peter gabriel was making amazing music which I absolutely love. You should listen to music like that instead of crappy stuff like Ding Dong Dong song and w/e the hell u were talking about in lunch, steven lynch. yes theyre funny sometimes but its not good music.

Guys I'm sorry but for me it's those songs that get you thinking.

U2 makes you think, cheer, laugh, cry, remember, forget. or perhaps only me.

I like songs that just make me feel. Thinking's good, but feeling something powerfully through you is even better. Although, the last song I listened to was not very heartfelt, considering that the majority of the lyrics were: PHIL, PHIL, PHIL OF THE FUTURE, PHIL, PHIL, PHIL OF THE FUTURE...lol we've got a thing for that show
omg you guys watch disney channel...sad...and for me thoughts are important but perhaps feelings are even more important. one of the things i hate about people is when theyre like gray. I can usually read people once I get to know them a bit, and I'm able to know what's going on thru their head sometimes but like for example just a second ago when I was listening to a song, which happened to be a love song I began to think about someone like Micheal Brown or George Griffin and I'm like wtf could be going thru their heads when they listen to music...what kind of music would they listen to? What goes on in their heads, cuz theyre so simple, such simple normal boring people there isnt much that stands out about them..but yeah, feelings for me personally are important as well, and usually when I think I feel what I think about, if I think about a memory then I can recall that memory easily and feel what I felt then, and I can listen to songs and they might trigger things in my head and make me remember things and then feelings rush through me. A song can make me go from absolutely angry and about to kill something to the most calm and thoughtful person..its just odd, I guess.
Yeah, I'm basically the same way, Danny. And to answer your questions, George likes Green Day, Simple Plan, bands like that. And he isn't simple or boring. Get to know someone before you say something like that about them.
No one is boring. No one is normal. The only people who seem normal are the people who we don't know well. Everyone has a story, has something processing through their heads, has things their sad about, happy about, likes and dislikes. And this is the part that gets me going. Everyone means somebody to somebody. There's someone in their life who really means something to them, someone who care about them a lot. O and Danny, there's nothing wrong with people who are gray. Gray is a good metophor for a lot of things, people, places, feelings. Exspeacily feelings. I find a lot of my feelings are gray.
Me too, and Cris is right, no one is boring. SOme people may choose who to show themselves too, but that does not mean they're boring. Danny, just because George does not talk incessantly nor make loud noises like you does NOT mean he is boring. You don't know him. You don't know Michael either. Neither do I, but I am sure he is interesting. And George is extremely interesting. He really has quite a conflicting personality.
Okay yeah I see now that calling someone blank is one of the biggest insults I can think of, so I will stop immediately.

its not a musical god its way more than that its about living in a city and being broke and dealing with aids and love and death and drugs u guys arent giving it a chance and i think u guys would like it but if u wanna be all stuck up about it then do that ur missing out and someday life is just gonna hit u in the face and u wont know what came at you. the stuff in there is real, that actually happens in real life u no and the music they use to reflect that is like a conversation, u feel like you are there almost, and the actors are amazing...
Hmm. Perhaps I'll see it one day.
